4. Friday Night June 24th
Many classmates are gathering Friday night at the following… Everyone is welcome!
Fort Brewery: 4-8 Come early/late and leave early or stay for live music and Rock it 'til they close. (Band yet TBD) Fort Brewery has their own brewed beers and they are excellent, and wine, no liquor. They have a nice menu you can look up on line. Their food is nut free and they have a vegetarian dedicated grill!
Lola's: 8-12 Robert Jetton (AHHS alum) and his band will be playing. Lola's also has a great menu (look it up), a full bar inside and outside, and plenty of space!
So....several of us are going to Fort Brewery between 4-5 (happy hour) and hang out for awhile. Some may go home from there, others will stay, and some of us will move on to Lola's to round out the evening.
If you prefer, you can skip Fort Brewery and go straight to Lola's and we'll catch up with you there. You pick. You choose. This gives everyone options. There will be more details coming, but this covers the basic itinerary for the evening. We know many of you made suggestions of various venues, and we looked at and considered most of them. Logistics and required minimums made some of them unfeasible. Bottom line, we had to have a game plan and make a decision. We hope this works for most everyone and we apologize if this doesn't accommodate some of you. (continued on next page)
5. Saturday June 25th
There is a guided tour on Saturday at Dear Old AHHS. Meet on the steps leading into the front doors, tour begins at 12:00 Noon. Please email AHHS50X70@gmail.com if you will be attending. Heights would like head count in advance. And folks, notice we didn’t say old, remember there were/are lots of stairs at Heights so knees and hips beware.
Disclaimer…the above document was developed by your reunion registration committee and one who wrote flight manuals and checklists for DOD helicopters and ISR airplanes…Remember things not to say on short final for landing…CHEER UP COPILOT!
